It is best to contact our legal advice service. Legal advice takes place on Thursdays between 9:00 and 13:00 on our premises. Remember to bring all your documents with you or contact our counseling service by email in advance so that you are well prepared for the appointment:

Refund of the semester ticket:
The solidarity model for semester tickets means that all students receive the semester ticket. If you do not need the semester ticket for special reasons, for example because you are abroad, live very close to the university or because your financial means are insufficient, you can apply for a refund from a hardship fund set up especially for this purpose in justified individual cases.
The application for reimbursement must be submitted to the Studierendenwerk by September 30 of the year for the winter semester and by March 31 of the year for the summer semester.
