Dear fellows,
various political bodys make up the representation of the HAW students. These are the cornerstones of the democratic university policy. Central political discussions take place in the student parliament, next to other institutions like the student union, the student representatives or the academic self-administration.
Elections for a new student parliament are planned for the next term.
For this election to take place, the acting student parliament elects an election committee whose task is to carry out the preparation of the election and the election itself. The committee is supported by election workers.
The election committee exists at least of three students.
The tasks are:
- Prepare the election schedule
- Recruit election workers
- Coordinate the elections (arrange appointments, check applications, keeping the different locations in mind)
- Carrying out elections in election week
The election committee will be elected by the student parliament, on a separate date there will be a constituent meeting where there will be an introduction to the activities.
The activity in the election administration is remunerated with an expense allowance.
If you are interested, feel free to join the upcoming meeting of the student parliament. The meeting takes place this Thursday (27th of September) at 7 pm in room 10.01 (Berliner Tor 7). The election committee will be elected there.
